Amp & Tonebender

I have a Tonebender Mk 1 clone which can give a BIG jump in volume,depending on setting.Could this cause any damage to an amp?
I usually use it into an 18 watt TMB type head & 2x12  25watt speakers.

    Unlikely, although not completely impossible.

    Usually the preamp will just saturate and limit the drive to the power amp and the resulting output to the speakers - but occasionally, driving the whole thing into full-on overload will cause something to fail.
