As title ... snagged a beautiful little tweed Blues Junior that was originally bought in Mannys NYC. It came with a nice compact power adaptor unit - but thinking long term about getting it converted to run on UK power.

Anyone done this? Likely cost? Easy job?

I am not a professional, but...

It will need a new mains transformer, which will cost around £100, plus labour to fit it, which might be another £60.

It's not a difficult job but robinbowes is about right with the pricing. Barely/not worth it.

The cheapest method is probably to buy another second hand UK-model Blues Junior (standard black model), swap the chassis, then sell the black one with the US transformer...
