The obvious contenders are the SD Quarterpounders or the DiMarzio set.

Prefer a pair that'll work well together.

I'm a very part-time bassist which is why I'd prefer not to spend on a new set.

Anyone got anything?

    Ahh - that's a different question!

    I know I can buy new, and good (DiMarzio/SD/EMG), for £120ish.  That's pushing the spend a bit higher than I wanted to go, so I was hoping to uncover a s/h set.

    There doesn't seem to be much available between the £25 cheapo sets on eBay and the £120 options.

    If all else fails, then it might be £30 for a Tonerider J unit, and *hope* that works with the P unit that's already in there.    I'm failing to find a Tonerider PJ set (new) anywhere.

    That is what I was hoping you meant. I am toying with the idea of letting my EMG-GZR PJ pair go.
