I was installing my Scarlett 18i8 on a new laptop the other day and thought I'd check if anything new had appeared on the Focusrite beta site.  MixControl 1.10b2 has been released for Windows which also updates the driver and the firmware.  I'm now getting amazing latency on my unit that was previously not possible so I recommend giving it a shot.

They've moved the firmware update to a separate app now, so don't forget to run that after you've installed the main package.

No probs, let me know how you get on.  I thought that since the 2nd gen had been released, the original versions had been abandoned, but it looks like they've done us a big favour with this one. 

My latency dropped from about 11ms to 4ms after the update.
