IMGUR comments

I've just noticed the various comments on my pics, including the likes and dislikes.

Most of the pics are gear ones for this place and a couple of performance ones, but by Jove. There are some sarky sods out there.

An acoustic duo pic of mine was called Tenacious Dull!

Anyone had any interesting comments?

Some people are just arseholes and derive pleasure from insulting others.

That's why I always set my pictures to private before uploading.

If you make your pictures Private, rather then Public, then they can only be viewed by people to whom you’ve given the url.

Embrace the imgur comments. Some are quite funny. I tend to get more on travel photos than guitar stuff

They did make me laugh but i did think WTF

Not quite. I use imgur to post photos on here and all mine are set to private, but they still show on here. Example:

Yep. I went to settings and couldn't see how you set it to Private.

There's a green macro when you select Edit that shows 'Share to Community' but I never select that and my pictures can still be viewed by Imgur members other than folk here.

@Roland - Any idea how we change that?

It’s done at picture level. I think you can also do it at folder level:

I stopped using Imgur for this very reason.  I didn't realise there was a private option, thanks.
