Headphone amp (4 channel) Samson S phone vs Mackie HD 400

I'm not having a good week, 1st my Cioks Schizophrenic broke, now my trusty Samson S phone headphone amp.
Was about to pull the trigger on a new S phone as they are cheap with Thoman, but then a new Mackie HM-400 caught my eye. Will be almost the same price as I can buy locally with no import fees.
The S phone was good, had 15 years out of it, but was wondering if the Mackie was decent? Any users?
