NGD: Les Paul Jr Special

I traded my SG for this lovely 2016 LP Jr Special yesterday with our own @shaunm and have been playing it solidly since. It's been modified with an aluminium Faber bridge and Oil City Firewatch p90's and it really sings. Nice and light, simple and easy to play. I'm still undecided about the bridge p90 but the neck pickup is lovely. Some quick and dirty pics:

It does sound very raw and fat. Alas, the Fender box did contain a US Pro tele at one stage. It's now sitting there as it drives the mrs mad and also it may come in handy if I need to ship a guitar.

I’m enjoying it so far! The neck pickup into my Matamp is beauteous with light gain and some delay. I’m undecided if I’ll use it in my main band as it’s quite noisy with heavy fuzz but for covers and stuff it’ll be perfect. 

Did you do the upgrades?
