"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

  • The Helix is a wonder piece if kit. It's what TC should have built to replace the G-system.
    Welcome back!

How about an updated THR100? :) I guess it would tread too much on the toes of the Line 6 stuff these days.

Great news Ross. Does this mean you can upgrade the Bad News tour bus now?

I don’t think so - it’s aimed at a different type of buyer and at a very different price point.

The one I tried - thanks to Ross bringing it to the shop I work for - is the best-sounding digital amp I’ve heard.

Beware...fairly large look at me and give me wows post!

Like my Helix 4cm routing idea that I see a good few people doing now. Cause, you know, it's really awesome!

Funnily enough, for the last couple of weeks I've been running a 4cm setup with the Helix, but with a whole valve amp and load box in the loop, and headphones for late night stuff. It's not too shabby.

Congrats on the job. As always, there's a meme for everything:

Awesome, congrats! I want a made-in-Japan Revstar with a USA Bigsby (as in, I'm willing to pay for one). The RSP20 is a fine platform, perhaps a limited run could be in order. Make it happen! :D

    Congratulations.

And, it took far to long for me to realise your username was Ross Yamaha, and not Rossy Amaha.

Can you get the spares dept. to answer the phone ?

I need a part for an RGX620DZ nut and no-one is picking up. . .

Ignore that request - I finally got through to be told that the Yamaha spares dept.don't sell Yamaha spares anymore, I have to phone another company who do that for them.

I phoned the second company and between us we worked out which (relatively small) part I needed. No stock in Germany, so it has to come from Japan.

6 - 8 weeks wait, followed by a bill for £53.65, for what is essentially a small rod with a thread on one end.

I really like Yamaha stuff, but sometimes you wonder if their parts pricing is just a little on the high side.

If the customer feel this price and wait time is excessive I'm sure I can make something which will do the job for a lot less than that.
