SORTED .Wanted - Cheap bass project/repair

Hi folks, 

After a cheap as possible bass to practice on but I also want to mess around with some modding, so something in need of attention is perfect. Plan is to put a new top on it so looking at £100 or less (preferrably less incase it all goes wrong!)

EDIT - Something 'modern' shaped or maybe a Jazz bass copy.

I'm in Coventry, can travel within reason or don't mind one being posted with the neck off.

I'd be willing to deliver if it's a definite sale for the above. No playing issues, minor scuff on the bottom.
