Looping again

I've got my eye on a cheap looper again. I had the Ditto x2 at the beginning of the year which was a little overkill for my usage really. However I keep coming across songs that we'd like to do that would really help with a second guitar but I don't want another full time guitarist in the band. So a looper

I have spent soooo much lately that I'm going to have to go cheap but I think simple will be enough for my usage so what would you recommend, basic Ditto looper? What can I expect to pay for a used one, £30-£40?

  • Use your h9?
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

  • It’s not too bad. I have a very basic looper preset on mine, which works just like a regular looper. You can ignore most of the controls. It also works way better with a 3-button aux switch.

On the other hand, you can't use any of your other algorithms when you’re looping.

Difficult enough in a live situation for me imo. There doesn't seem to many tutorials online with people using it either so I can't be alone in feeling that :(

That's quite cool and good for the price too. However I'm always concerned about the quality of EHX pedals I.e. Knobs breaking etc. Get what you pay for I guess. I just don't know why EHX doesn't sort that out otherwise their products would be amazing imo

Queuing up the looper pressing two buttons to stop and start or record. Doing this traversing over other pedals etc. I think I'd prefer a one button functionality. Unless I've read the manual wrong
