Scott Walker, who magicked this guitar into existence, is a quiet giant of the USA luthier aristocracy. He makes fewer than 30 instruments a year - tells you how much time and care he devotes to his pieces. He once worked for SCGC, and hand carved over 1000 of their necks (and this one too ).

Incredible looking neck. Terrific carving behind the headstock especially. Did you buy this new from TNAG?

Thanks for the compliment. I'm the second owner. Previous owner paid £4,500 new from TNAG (I have invoice to prove), and scarcely played it!

"C" shape neck, with softened shoulders and hidden fret tangs;
Scott-wound pickups;
4 way switch - parallel or series choice;
Push/pull in or out of phase switch;
42mm bone nut;
Jescar frets;
Glendale saddles;
Copper shielded Italian celluloid pickguard.

And yes, it plays and sounds like the Tele of your dreams.

I'm really not a Tele player but that is a fantastic looking guitar and I'm sure is as playable as it is beautiful. Just doesn't seem right for it to go at that price, have you considered an umbrella..?

Some months ago I had the pleasure of doing a deal with Barry, we met in Knighton and he brought the Jimson for me to have a go on. Spent some time with it plugged it. It's a lovely instrument, wonderful neck and sounds just as good as it looks. If I had the funds available would be mine. Best of luck with the sale.
