Really lovely condition Gibson ES-330, early 1967 by the scratchplate

In immaculate condition apart from two tiny holes in the top from a previous owner fitting a Midi pickup (the mind boggles!)

Has been nicely refretted with Vintage correct wire and comes with a new Hiscox case.

Also has the treble pickup properly shimmed to balance both pickups (common issue on these).

Absolutely, no other issues just need to raise some funds after recent purchases.

Collection from Central London or will post at cost

These are pics from when the guitar was new to me will send any others on request.

£3550 Ono

    Lovely. I'm a big fan of the 60's ES-330's - GLWTS.

The gallery link isn’t working for me.  I’d change the links so that the pics display on the page - that guitar looks amazing, unusual colour for a 330.

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Well on this one it's very nice.

Of course given it's age, it's the slightly narrower nut width - but in common with a few ES guitars I've played from the same time, it's got a bit of depth to it - which somehow offsets that.

So narrower nut than early 60s, but still very playable, got a bit of depth to it - so not like an early 60's blade. Just overall comfortable.

Come and have a look if you like, or I can measure it?
