Looking for options on the above. Grand Auditorium size 16” lower bout ideally. Bonus for string through bridge and split saddles. I know Taylor have something similar, but hoping to get ideas of other options.

u can kick this around the park if ya wish but the design philosophy by far over rides the different between spruces, particularly in production line guitars where they pick soundboards for the next build from a pile from hundreds on a pallet that have been graded on appearance . Stiffness and weight are whats important in tailoring a particular sound from a given set of fixed variables.

E.G. - ' Grand Auditorium size 16” lower bout' + Maple.

Same applies to bracing stock.
