    Loved it
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

  • Just wow.

Love his smile at the end. “Nailed it.”

I can't see that there was any luck involved. A crew were paid to record it.....

Very impressive, wonderful arrangement and playing
Sadly, his vibrato puts me off a little, personal preference I assume

Probably not as interesting to non-guitarists?

    That was fab.

There's another one doing the rounds (live performance) with Nuno, Zakk Wylde and Steve Vai but this tops that!

That is awesome and he's only using an ibanez. How good would he be with a Fender or Gibson?

  • The Andy Timmons or Ibanez nerds amongst you may note that he is playing a prototype Ibanez sig, which is based on the AZ series and is much less pointy than his #1 AT-100 guitar.

And a different pickup configuration - they look like 3 Dimarzio Cruisers, which are actually humbuckers but impart more single-coil type sounds when he backs of the volume control.

Maybe, although I'd suggest playing a recognisable/ hummable choon makes it a lot more accessible to non guitarists than any amount of high speed widdle. The Shadows, for example, obviously sold to plenty of non guitarists.

    Absolutely beautiful

Also as a bit of an old school Queen Fan it was really nice to hear a bit of "You take my breath away" (on Day At The Races album for those who want to look it up - stunning beautiful song)
