Spotted online that gibson do official replacement chrome humbucker pickup covers - does anyone know if these would fit the uncovered humbuckers on an SG special?

Yes they should do. The polepiece spacing on the bridge pickup will be wider so make sure you order one of each type.

You'll need a beefy iron to solder them to the baseplates.

Ahh thanks,thats good news the ones i've seen come as a set - bridge and neck.

Measure to make sure - friends which pickups are on the special. I suspect you'll need a bridge and a neck.
