Thousands of sounds, based on Roland's JV/XV line of synths as well as the newer SuperNatural synth engine of the Integra 7 and Jupiter 50/80. Big colour screen, 16-part multi-timbral, 128 voice polyphony, etc, etc.


This has Roland's 'Ivory Feel' piano-weighted keyboard. A sort of grained surface that's less slippery than the typical plastic. But the synth is super-light at 16.5kg, so easily giggable if you want.

USB port for computer connectivity with MIDI/audio. Mic/guitar/line inputs for using it as an interface with the FA-08's FX applied. Plus there are pads to load samples to, a 16-track sequencer and user memory to add extra soundbanks from Roland's Axial website: http://axial.roland.com/category/fa-06_fa-07_fa-08/

Price: £799 collected from Cambridge (too big to post).
