So I ditched my Ebook idea and did a web site instead, Ive just started but looking for ideas and comments, its not a forum or buy & sell, just pics and info.

I didn't see your site because of that stupid feedback popup.

I like a guitar site but anything like that puts me off straight away and didn't bother carrying on. 

Get rid of it is my advice, it will make your site more welcoming.

You've had the positive comments so I'll wade in with the negatives!

There feedback pop up is stopping me viewing the site. I'm also on a mobile device and your site doesn't seem to be responsive?

And finally wix sites are a poor choice. I'd go with a CMS setup - Wordpress with a nice clean, responsive theme that can be easily optimised.

Thanks for the comments folks, its nowhere near completed, but I couldnt wait any longer to get some feedback !

1. Contrast on the pics, ...yes this did worry me a little but I have got used to it, I will how many commenst I get .

2. The Feedback...well thats what happenswhen I publish the site for comments, I guesss if I publish normally this wont happen?

3. Using Wix - again, I just searched for a popular site and it came in the top 3, looked easy to use, and it has been so far, I will look at the other suggestions though.    

4. Zoom in on pics, ..if you click on them in the slide show pics, they do open to monster size.

Nice idea, and nice clean website, but the photos should be more varied and artistic IMO. A site like this should get the juices flowing but they just look like library shots from a box shifting guitar store.

White is just to give a solid background, the home page was library style intentionally.

Yep...click on the MORE button, should take you to some more arty shots, its still WIP at the moment.

The biggest negative so far but.... the pop will not be there on the final cut..
