This is the 4th NGD since October. I really do need a quick update thread.

It is a Music Man and the official finish designation is Starry Night! I have 2 models in this finish now.

I was the same as I wasn't sure about the looks, but I learned to love them before trying them and once I got my hands on one, the ergonomics won me over. I did find the nut a tiny bit too wide initially (it's 43mm), as the Morse and the Luke have very narrow 41.3mm nuts, narrower than the regular 42mm of a Fender, however that didn't take too long to adjust to.

I've restrung it with Paradigms and will tweak the action over the weekend, as I think it could come down a shade and it's quite easy to adjust.

I owned one of the first JP models to hit these shores and that was very easy to play, but this guitar is a huge step forward.

That finish looks strangely like sandpaper. Maybe me old eyes are going.
