Apparently, according to social media, this is the only guitar that has ever been made.

Id love to hear a tone wood debate at this point!

Until you get another conventional good strat side by side you can't say if wood makes a difference , i thought it was ok nothing special, you tube clips don't help either

I did like it though, how heavy is it anyone know

Is it usable? Can't imagine it being very strong.

It’s bound to colour the tone a bit.

More seriously (than the inevitable tonewood debate :) ), obviously the epoxy resin will strengthen the surface of the pencil block, but how far through the fibres is it likely to travel without positive/negative pressure applied?

And similarly, how much of a strength loss will there be due to the wax within the (probably) cedar pencils? I don't mean from an overall structural point of view, but for the ability of the 'matrix' to hold screws/bolts for various bits of hardware attached?

An interesting project, and a lovely finish, indeed.

Looking at how easily the neck pocket cutting gave way it doesn't look that a dense or strong a material. Interesting project though and does sound nice to me at the end of the video, if a little bright for my tastes.
