WTB - bargain small diaphram condensor mic, single or pair

Looking to add to my meagre home recording setup. Funds are tight and I’m not in huge rush so probably would need to be a bit of a bargain. I’ve been stalking a few things on eBay so that might happen too.

I use a stereo matched pair for recording acoustic guitar, detailed and airy, perfect imho

@sweepy That's good to hear, beacuse I've just bought a pair that were on special offer. OK, probably means this thread closed then.

superlux do an NT1 clone thats pretty decent

Damn! I'm on Prime too. Hmmm... well, studiospares are a useful if somewhat expensive entity so maybe I should give them my support on this occasion.

The Behringer C2 are a million times better than they've any business being for the price. You can currently pick a pair up (in a tidy case, with a stereo bar) for about £35. As good or better than most of the other budget options, and certainly cheaper. I've got a couple of pairs I keep around for the odd occasion I'm short of condensers, or to go out on small function gigs etc that don't need the "proper" stuff, and they do a sterling job.
