For sale a cracking hand-built T style reiver.

Black limba body, 3 piece maple neck. 16" radius, hipshot machine heads, schaller 3d bridge.

I believe a custom build by Alan starts at approx £2200 and all depends on wood choice. No expense spared on this one.

Custom wound Kent Armstrong pickups are concealed inside the casings. Bridge voiced like a Tone Zone, neck voiced like a Paf Pro.

Attention to detail is something else with this guitar, the neck join is a thing of beauty and very easy to play.

Plays like a beast and sounds great!!

Unfortunately no case. I will ship in a prs se gig bag and double boxed for safety, I never like leaving things to chance. Or I'm fully happy to remove the neck for postage if wanted.

Or cash on collection from Dunblane is a OK.

If you have any questions, fire away.

    Very tasty indeed.

    E - e is 36mm, full nut width is 42mm...

    Damn comfy...

I'm learning by the discovery method that a  partscaster specced out equally nicely easily comes towards that price.

    Bargain for someone, I reckon.

I had a Reiver briefly, and craftsmanship was faultless - however, for me, I found the neck profile very strange... Can you describe the profile of this one?

If they are anything like Alan's basses then they will be asymmetric.

On a bass, it's an absolute revelation (at least for me)

I have 2 of Alan's basses and one on the way (5 string fretless in black limba funnily enough). They are quite simply the most well built and best playing instruments I've ever had.
