Has anybody tried the t rex soulmate

Just wondering how anyone found it ...I'm tempted by one but a mate says the Liine 6 HX would probs be better for me....help..!!! I have a Amp I love ..I just need delay reverb and boost...Will the soulmate do that well or do I need to get something like line 6 ...I'm thinking the drive on the soulmate would be handy if my amp went down

The amp models on the HX would be a lot better in case your amp went down, also HX has loads more effects options and I would expect better sounding.  For delay, reverb and boost the 3 switches on the HX would be ideal, the options of recording via usb as well

I have a Helix and love it, the HX engine is basically the same

It's all about workflow.

Do you want lots of options, tweaks and bells and whistles?

If so the HX is far better suited.

If you want something that's like a few decent stompboxes nailed together then the Soulmate will suit you better and I haven't tried one but T Rex stuff is always proper pro kit.
