It sounds more like a large-scale engineering facility, not just a garage.

It sounds very much like someone with their balls caught in the cutlery draw trying to shake their way out whist cursing their predicament.

    Actually.... it's alright.

It's only the rapidly-rattling-a-stick-inside-a-plastic-bin drum sound I really struggle with.

  • Yes I thought the drums were a bit daft, and I struggle a bit with vocalists trying to sound demonic. Otherwise it’s like Sabbath meets Flux of Pink Indians. Sorry for being too old for this but I at least did give it a listen all the way through.

I saw them supporting Testament a fair few years ago.  I couldn't wait for them to finish.

But... as a quick burst of something ridiculous, that's actually quite good.  Couldn't listen to a whole album but everything in moderation, eh?

Way back in 2000/01 my old band Evil Knievel played with Mistress, which is the same guys. The singer Dave C**T was punching himself as he sang and asked for someone to hit him. Our 6'4"bassist obliged with a left hook.

He finished the gig but apparently needed 6 stitches to his jaw,

I remember the first time I heard 'Pandemonic Hyperblast'...I thought a bomb had gone off. Never turned down my PC speakers so quickly haha. Love it.

I'd love to see AN live in London but live action around that time is already looking quite lively with Pigs x 7, Cave in/Old Man Gloom, St Vitus and Mutoid Man all coming up.

Nice to know that instruments can be used for something other than music.
