Not sure how much longer it will hang around for... Always want to bond with Gibson style guitars but not managed to hold on to any yet

I would buy it like a shot if it was a Gibson ,double p90 and yellow .........Nice guitar.Perhaps  you are  just of the Fender persuasion .Dont worry, your just born like it.Its not a perversion .

It is pretty yellow when I take the pickguard off 

Don't be fooled by a decal these jap ones were every bit as good as the Gibsons at that time.

And yes, I am definitely of the F persuasion

yes - go and fiddle about with some stuff in your shed/garage for an afternoon and then go immediately and have a tune-up. That'll fix them.

I think it's the scale that makes you choose F or G type guitars, but I also prefer the set neck.

I had a Burny doublecut Junior, cherry, one piece body.  It looked fantastic, was every bit as well made as a good Gibson and I wanted to love it, but I really didn't get on with the neck shape.

Sometimes you just don't bond with a guitar.
