Guitar tech Sheffield

May as well have another location thread running!

Anyone got any suggestions for a decent guitar tech in Sheffield or around that sort of way? Wanting to get the wiring tidied on one of mine and may as well do the full set up thing while she's under the knife.

Stuart Palmer in Doncaster, above the now defunct Electro Music. Great guitar builder. I’ve heard some slightly dodgy things about his wiring though. 

Alternatively, speak to Pod at Richtone. He’s great

John Shuker, the Master Bass Builder, he is also a damn good Guitar Tech and has good rates. He is in the peak District between Bamford and Hope. Don't know which side of Sheffield you are at, but it's not that far there, really. It's 30 minutes from near Central Sheffield.

Andy Lister. Knows what he is upto and great value based not too far from Richtone (and does work for them too)

Is that the guy on Ecclehall Road?

I only visited the once a good few years ago, but I was less than impressed. Can't say either way for his skills though.

It's not Sheffield but I've been very pleased with the work I've had done by The String Surgeon in Wakefield.

Haha no problem, it is that place just have a couple of guitars that need a little love and haven't used a guitar tech before!
