Live at Leeds is a great one, same for Gilmour.

@HoraceB ‘s goldtop neck pickup through a Tone King Imperial, although I imagine it would sound sublime through any amp.

Mick Ralphs - most Mott The Hoople stuff was either a Junior, Coronet or ‘56 Gold Top (early days) and the first Bad Co album was a Junior for the majority of it.

... and pretty much everything else - mostly done with a Gibson ES330 in the studio.

All the early Mountain/West Bruce & Laing/Leslie West albums.  Some of the songs aren't great but the guitars sound fantastic.

Charlie Starr from Blackberry Smoke for me, his beat up '56 Les Paul Jr sounds fantastic.
Tomorrow will be a good day.

...who were my two favourite guitarists long before I found out they both played 330's - so there must be something about that pickup!
Not much of the gear, even less idea.

Does Neil Young uses P90s? It's a Firebird pickup in Old Back in the bridge position and I rarely hear him use the neck pickup.

No...you need a LP with a Firebird pickup! Far sexier.

Leslie West with his Leslie Paul Junior on the Flowers Of Evil album.

Also, I saw Martin Barre playing a Tobacco Sunburst Leslie Paul Junior with Jethro Tull at Hanley Town Hall and it was godlike.

    It's not a competition.
