It would probably accelerate the discussion and decision-making on what makes the final tracklist if everyone who updates the google sheet directly also posts here. I for one need as much practice time as possible!

I’d like to revisit Hendrix - Fire with @FastEddie if possible. I’ve  played it and learnt the solo for a jam a year or so ago, so want to try playing and singing it this time. If Eddie can cover the main rhythm I’ll add in what I can rhythm wise while singing and do the solo (which I should have improved).

Not going to suggest any others, there’s a few on the list I’m happy to join in on.

At this point I am happy to rock-up, learn, and play. 
I'm very new to this so would like to find my feet before I feel confident enough to make suggestions.

Ive added me to a few songs....but happy to drop back if any of the first timers want to do them instead ;-)

If we are struggling for players the I can maybe learn some of the other songs to keep them in the set.

If someone could put me down for bass duties on 3 random songs that I'm not singing, that would be a nice challenge! 

Nothing too insane but happy to try some intermediate or complex stuff.

Looks like Rocks is sorted, thanks all, but I need volunteers for Alive (bass and 2nd guitar ie Stone Gossard, if I’m Mike McCready) and Ironman (bass, @roberty did you say you were up for singing it? plus any other guitars). I’ll try to produce some kind of arrangement note for ironman beforehand as it has a few sections. 

Not too bothered about Wind Cries Mary, but it’s pretty straightforward if anyone fancies bass/vocals plus another guitar

Are you asking me to nominate additional songs with interesting and/or challenging bass guitar parts or to randomly nominate which volunteer bassist should attempt which song from those already firmly on the list?

@MagicPigDetective I can give iron man a go on bass and vox mate. Just listening now it's basically unison until the instrumental breaks

I'm asking you to pick 3 songs from the existing lust, for me to play bass on, so I have a challenge

What comedian pencilled me in for All Right Now? The only bits of that I can play properly on bass are the verses.

I’m a bit confused about how you are running this process. I’m not going to put my name down to sing a load of proposed songs then find they all make the cut and find I’m singing all day, same with guitar - I only want to learn a few new songs. Can you get the list down to a sensible number (15? Ie max one suggestion per person) and we can then put our names down against what we want to play on?

Are you up for doing rhythm on Fire? Had a quick run through playing while singing last night and should be OK if there’s another guitarist doing rhythm bits as well.

completely understand @mrkb. Through the process of songs being proposed and expressions of interest in taking a 'band' role, the aim is to identify a manageable group of viable songs. To date the process has moved quite slowly, which helps explain why we are where we are. We urgently need everyone to review the google sheet and confirm which songs they wish to play on and the band roles they would like.
