Removing dust from pedals

Stupid question really - what's your go to method for removing dust from ya pedalses ???

small pastry brush here, does the trick very nicely indeed...I have it velcroid to my board next to the pedals for easy dusting action access

I tend to do this every couple of years, but since the first thing I then do is stamp on them in my outdoor shoes, I try not to be precious about it. I'm more aware of the need to exercise and lube/clean the nobs once a year because of the 'harsh' environment of being on or near a dusty floor and being stepped on frequently. Thats probably one reason I don't have fancy pancy paint jobs on any pedals and prefer a decent LED status indicator.

That's a lot of effort - I just leave mine outside in the rain for a few hours, then blow the excess off with a leaf blower.
