Agreed it is a sad senseless waste and terrible for her kids and all her family.

Now her kids will have to live with the same trauma that she had to which is desperately sad.

Addiction is a terrible thing and no respecter of who or what you are.

Does this imply that someone got into the house before the police arrived and removed all the 'drug paraphernalia" ?

I remember reading that the house was searched and nothing along those lines being found?

It is difficult to speculate- it is a possibility.

The other possibility is she was very good at covering her tracks.

Addicts are pretty crafty at hiding their illness.

Or that she got her fix elsewhere, then came home and died (if that's possible). Or that she didn't inject it.

None of it is nice. I'll be the 6th person to use the word 'sad'.

It is sad but also very selfish...  She was spouting off about how her kids made her whole again and they were her entire world - and then does this - ok Im assuming she didnt mean to but why would you take the risk...??

Phil Lynott being a case in point. His mother used to check his arms for track marks - none. He injected into his legs and soles of his feet!!

Both tragic and sad.

not so sure it was an overdose that killed her.......played a part in her death was the tox results. I am not even sure she had taken any that day........

It wasn't an overdose it was "recent use of heroine" that exacerbated or complicated the cause of death which still hasn't been clarified.

that doesn't sound particularly ambiguous to me, more like "based on the information we have, our experience suggests that it was likely to have been what killed her" but in a way that avoids saying "it was definitely an OD that caused her death" probably as there's not way of being that certain.

sad that her child was left on his own as a consequence, especially as she suffered the same experience.

It was known from the beginning she ODed but covered up so as to not jade the whole RIP-tweet public sympathy carousel. I've lost all sympathy for her really - getting smacked off your tits with your 11 month old in the house is not cool.

I agree, but she's handed that on to her own kids now... which I feel is an act of betrayal, but if whe didn't confront her demons she wouldn't see it like that.
