Fs/FT Fender Jazz Bass MiM EMGs SOLD

‘Ello.

Ive decided that whilst this is a superb Jazz Bass, all I’m using it for is trying to make it sound like a Precision... and failing.

Its a gorgeous Wine Red metallic colour with a white pickguard. The Birdseye maple (oh yes it is) neck is topped by a nice slab of rosewood and it plays lovely.

Its fitted with a set of EMG active pickups and pots etc but comes with the original pickups and pots should you not like them. It’s also fitted with Schiller locking strap buttons.

Downsides - a few scratches etc as you’d expect and the previous owner left his mark in the form of a fag burn on the headstock. Cliched huh?

Im after what it owes me £425 or would trade for a Fender Precision. 

Im based near Kettering, Northants - and due to the length of a bass, I can’t post it. Happy to meet up etc

Are these pickups the same length for both neck and bridge positions? Like the EMG-MJ pair. http://www.emgpickups.com/mjset.html

Did you ever try an EMG-VMC?

No the bridge unit is slightly longer.

Good. (I could not remember the year when Fender Mexico abandoned the equal length pickups.)
