I’m really enjoying Martin Miller’s live studio sessions on his YouTube channel - what ever you think it is a bunch of musicians at the highest level having some fun - and really well produced too. I like that he gets guests in too and with some musical context starting to appreciate Martins playing more too.

Me, too.

He was part of that breed that came through with Tom Quayle, and coincidentally, Suhr players, that had superb technique, but with Martin Miller, he's got a good marriage of technique, note choice and melody going on. He's also got a decent voice.

Have you seen the Toto Medley they did, and there are others, too? Cracking band. Oh, and I love his sound and if it's not the Laney Heads he sometimes uses, I think it comes from an Axe FX.

Good musicianship but I'm not so sure about this one in comparison to others, but it's still good but I could've done without the organ solos

Agreed. What was great about the Police was it was short, sharp, bouncing.... I felt this got a little turgid at times with the arrangement and solos... still bloody good though and some great skill on display

The Star of the Police Medley for me is the drummer - in fact in all the sessions he seems to shine - doesn't seem to flinch at whichever mega-drummer they throw at him..
