Sold: Fender Strat / Tele red label chainsaw case

I'm splitting my modified USA Fender Strat so have the following items for sale:

This first picture just shows the whole thing so you can visualise how each part could look fitted:




SOLD Fender Standard Strat body (1997) - £199

This has been modified with a rear access rout and a very good custom paint job (flames over metallic purple). It includes the jack socket, trem mounting anchors and schaller strap pins, but nothing else. 

It's in extremely good condition with only minor marks / wear including a minor touched up ding on the bottom edge (seen below)...



SOLD - Fender Neck - £200
This is a 1997 neck with maple 'board and upgraded locking tuners - it includes the neck, tuners, string trees, neck plate and screws. 

The back of the neck has been sanded down to a smooth but slightly inconsistent finish and there are some minor dings....



SOLD Bare Knuckle Nailbomb Bridge Humbucker - £95

It comes wired to a volume control and mounted in a single humbucker routed Warmoth pickguard. 

This is a great quality pickup, hand wound in the UK.



SOLD USA Standard Trem / Bridge (1997) - £50

Includes pivot bolts (no anchors), springs, claw and Tremel-no device, but no trem arm.



SOLD Fender Red Label guitar case - £90, now £80

Fits a Strat or Telecaster. 

Some signs of wear and a couple of mismatched replacement feet, but still very solid.

So with the rear rout done, does it mean that it's more like a hole rather than a rout, as I presume the front rout wasn't filled?

Yes @victorludorum - exactly right. So what you can see from the rear is the back of the scratch plate with the volume pot mounted to it.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason for doing it? I ask, as there doesn't seem to be a cover over the rear rout.

No idea @victorludorum - it was done by the previous owner (who envisioned the whole thing) to allow quick access to the back of the controls but not sure why really. It's kinda cool but not sure there are any huge benefits...

Maybe he was going for that Steve Vai Ibanez type thing, which is almost like a handle.

I seem to recall that there was a practical reason but can't remember why, I know he was a regular gigger and planned the guitar according to his gigging needs.
