  • Peterson, expensive but worth it imo.

Tried a Korg one also and it was rubbish.

Polytune for me and I have quite the collection.  Probably got about a dozen of the things lying about the house somewhere.

Polytune is great, Korg is ok.
Fender one seems a bit iffy, the snarks always die (I've had 4 go on me)
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Polytune.
Oddly, it seems far more reliable than their floor pedal.

Polytune enclosure died on me and cracked making the buttons dodgy. Peterson is more accurate and still lives....

I thought the forum standard answer to birthdays was steak and a blow job?

Ahem, Polytune works really well. I've bought two at £25 each as the first one is falling apart although that's more from my teenage son's use/ abuse rather than considered adult use.

I'm pretty easy on things but likewise my Snark broke (and the finish went all sticky for some reason, very odd). Polytune holding up well but the buttons are fiddly.

Gave up on them as tuning live was a nightmare. Tried Korg, Snark.  Went back to TU2.

Peterson HD, beats the Polytune imo because I prefer the strobe, and the sweetened tunings are ace.
