Advice please. Streaming FLAC files - for the beginner....
Advice required, please....
I'm downsizing my hifi set up... which will mean putting my CD's into the loft, for storage.
I'd like to know how to rip them to a hard drive...? which drive to buy...? and what to play them through...?
I have decent speakers and amp.... so assume I will need a receiver of some sort? I already stream Spotify from my phone (via an Arcam Bluetooth Dac) and I'm generally pleased with the results but there are a few tracks and albums I own that aren't available, so lossless FLAC files seem to be the way forward?
Don't want to spend huge amounts....maybe a few hundred quid?
What's a good set up for a beginner, then?
