Well who’d have thought, this has been my only amp for the last 6 years or so - an absolute belter of an all-rounder. So easy to live with, lovely Fendery Princeton type clean to mild breakup tones but beautifully balanced, takes pedals very well, not a bad sound anywhere on the dials, usable at bedroom volumes and band volumes, built like a tank, no need to re-bias when changing tubes, the list goes on, which is why it has stayed so long.

But nonetheless, selling as fancy going on the first amp hunt for many a years just to mix things up a bit....

It came as a head (rare for a Sportsman), then I had Zilla do a combo conversation that fits like a glove. It’s a combo at the moment, but will be sold with the head-shell as well so you can chose/swap between them.

Speaker in the combo is a Carr/Eminence Elsinore. Has had a full re-valve in the last 6 months. Fantastic condition throughout the amp, combo and head.

Due to both combo and head boxes, collection from Pinner Middlesex only, although sensible meeting distance also an option, but will not be able to post.

£1100.
