Replacement pickup suggestions for Blacktop Tele HH?

Hi All

Can anyone recommend a pair of replacement humbuckers for a Fender Blacktop Tele HH?

The original pickups are a bit dark and lacking in clarity, and I'd also like something with four conductor wiring so that I can split the coils with a push pull pot to hopefully get some of that Tele twang in single coil mode. I'd probably like something with a reasonably hot output level in the bridge for classic rock sounds but nothing over the top. I'm using the guitar in a covers band playing a wide range of genres so the more sounds I can get out of it the better really.

I've already got a Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz set in one of my other guitars - I like the JB but not so keen on the Jazz as I'd prefer something a bit smoother/fatter sounding.

At the budget end, I am stunned just how good the Tonerider Classic IV's are.  I put a pair (less than £80 for the two) in a customer's cheapo Les Paul and we both agreed that it sounded better than his genuine Gibson LP Custom - to the point that he is selling the latter to use just the former!
