Happy Anniversary

3 years ago (exactly to the day - I checked receipts - spooky) I bought a guitar.

I liked the guitar, alot - obviously or else I wouldn't have purchased it.

A few months later I did something silly due to GAS and circumstance at the time and the last guitar in had to be the first guitar out to make funds available.

I then realised too late that that had been a rather silly idea and wanted my guitar back. However, the numpty I'd sold it to had moved it on again already himself. I buried the need to get my guitar back but after over 2 years, whiskey and women just weren't filling the void left by that guitar.

Soooo after preparing a draft Fretboard post to ask if anyone remembered who had bought my guitar in the hope of finding it again, I scroll through the pages and see a new ad in the classifieds and there was my guitar. Clearly all of these factors meant it had to come back to me so today she came home.

my one regret was selling a 1983 US Telecaster, which was my first decent guitar - maple neck/board, cherry (sienna?) sunburst.

That is one of the best looking 339s I've ever seen, and I was glad to be a part of the 'exchange' process at the salubrious surroundings of Wolverhampton Train Station !
