This guy wants £600 for a £200 Squier bass.

Ah, but it's special, see, it has Jet Harris's signature on it, I hear you say.

I saw someone trying to flog a VM Squier JM for about £600 due to upgrades. Mental.

if it was sonic blue it was listed at £900 at one point
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

He could at least have spelt Squier correctly.

The headstock might give you a clue.

One of the great life lessons: only upgrade the shit out of a cheap guitar for yourself because it's rarely worth more than the factory version in sell on.

Admittedly one of the more clumsily phrased life lessons but...
