    My current herd ...

    Gibson Les Paul Historic R9***
    Suhr Guthrie Govan tigerburst
    Suhr Modern Koa
    PRS 513 BRW
PRS Modern Eagle 1 Private Stock
    PRS Modern Eagle 1 DC
    PRS Modern Eagle 1 SC
    Washburn N4 relic***
    Fender Michael Landau Strat
    Fender USA deluxe Strat
    Fender Frankenstrat
    Line 6 JTV59 Variax
    Washburn Prairie Song Custom acoustic***
    Crafter Nylon String acoustic
    Taylor 814ce acoustic
    Taylor 345 12 string
    Martin Backpacker acoustic

After owning a massive number of Marshall's, Boogies, Bogner, Soldano, Engl, Laney, Fender and H&K amps I have found the Holy Grail and play through an AxeFXII, Matrix GT1000FX poweramp and Line 6 G90 wireless system. I run a Matrix CFR12 cab for foldback and NL212 2x12 cab for back line. I use a Line 6 HD500 for rehearsing at home which is a bit crappy.

The *** indicates guitar will be buried with me.
I love how there's a variax in there - pretty good endorsement given the wide range of top end guitars around it

It is the nicest of the Variax guitars, though!  That model looks pretty decent in its own right.

  • I cant remember if ive already filled this in or not but i guess no one actually read this thread so my tally is

    Brian Moore iGuitar
    Ibanex JS2000
    Epiphone Les Paul Studio
    Ibanez Millenium Destroyer
    Yamaha CPX1000
No brand acoustic I bought in canada for $30
    Kramer Assault?? (in pieces)
    De'Armond Bass

    So that's 8.

To be honest I'd happily get rid of a couple of them but it's jsut not worht the sale price n the cheaper ones, would be more interested in a trade I think.

Nice guitars, dips on the PRS that are not going 6ft under? :p

Sure thing, it may take me that long to sell them anyway :)

    @Benson, why no Telecaster?

Not yet found one that I jelled with as yet. I had a MIJ thinline which was nice but I foolishly let her go, I played a Kotzen once which was sweet but I couldn't afford it at the time and I did own a USA 52RI which looked amazing but I just didn't get on with playing it. Definitely on my bucket list to find the one though.

@Horse I keep threatening to sell it but every time I pick her up and play she's just great and given the diminishing resale value I think what's the point? She's a great Les Paul backup and someday I may need the bells and whistles. On magnetic pickups alone she's worth the admission price!

I hope you're insured to the hilt and you never get burgled!! Impressive list mate.

Yeah, insured, locked in safe room (serious) and guarded by alarm system, attack dog (not serious, see avatar) and wife.

    Updated:
    -Suhr Landau-spec S
-MIM Classic 60s Strat (backup to ^)
-a single cut made by (not from,,) a guy in Israel

I might be swapping the 2nd strat with a Tele.

Gassing for an early 80s Ibby semi, a Norlin LPC or a Suhr 24-fret shredder.
tho #3 on the list above handles all humbucker tasks most gracefully..

After selling 3 on the trot, I've finally managed to get them down to 10. Single figures will be my next mission, although I fear it will be mission impossible.

    I have:

    4 Electrics - 2 Strats, a DGT and a Tennessee Rose
    1 Bass - Warwick Streamer $$ V
2 Acoustics- Yamaha FJ (kept at my Ma's) and a Tanglewood (not actually sure where it is)
    1 Uke
Quite proud to say a year later this has not changed at all.

The previous year I got through about 8 guitars.

Says something about the quality of the DGT.

I'm relatively new to this so I only have 3, but if GAS has it's way, that will change very soon.
    1. My Sigma Acoustic, bought new last December
    2. A Strat Ripoff, bought of a Friend for £5 in March
    3. My new Epi Tribute Plus LP, bought new at the end of June.
