I've trimmed down a bit to a ce22, les Paul, 2 teles and a strat with a nice acoustic to round them off.

2 basses.
2 nylon stringers.

I have no truck with those big ole hollow noisy things with a wound 3rd

I really feel for you Mike. imagine how many guitars you could have tried in all that time. It's terribly sad.

It's not sad at all. I love all the guitars I have. And they all get a fairly equal amount of playing time. It took me long enough to find a Strat I could get on with on a long-term basis, I've tried everything from a Squire to American.

I do also know I don't get on with Les Pauls, and SG's aren't a comfortable guitar for me.......

Maybe I put too much though into buying guitars........

2 x Strats (an AVRI and a 20 year old American Standard set up for slide with GK2 hex pick-up), Gibson 335, PRS McCarty, D28, Taylor GS Mini, Taylor NS32ce nylon string and Music Man Sub bass.

So they all have a purpose.

I'd like a resonator (I've never owned one of any description) and a 12 string acoustic.

I have 7 electrics - 2 Les Paul Customs, 1 Gibson Flying V,1 Tokai Flying V, 1 Tokai Love Rock, a stupid BC Rich V and a Fender Stat. They all get used and abused regularly

Gibson vermillion, epi SG anniversary something or other, Squire JD Strat, Squire duo sonic, an LP junior type, faith parlour and vintage v300.

So not too bad, and 2 I keep at work to play there.

I'm stripping it down and oiling it (leaving the top gold) and putting a Bigsby on it, but then it is off to camf, so err, yes.. (ahem - forgot that one)

I currently have ten. And a nice big amp, and two biggish, almost-fully-stocked pedalboards. And more purchases are planned.

This wouldn't be so bad, but I'm only 19, I have a ridiculous amount of gear for my age and the relatively small amount of live playing I do... tbh though, I can afford it all (my parents helped out with some of my earlier purchases admittedly, and my dad bought me my first guitar). And it all gets used - and I can't think of anything else I'd rather spend my money on.
