This happened today, despite Virgin Atlantic losing it for about 18 hours (and me losing my bowels for the duration)

It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen / touched / played / owned / cuddled.

Bought it for what I consider to be a great price, and despite the sizeable headaches of getting it over from the USA (airline company lost it for about 18hrs) it was completely worth it. Only way I'd have a chance of getting a first year, clay dot, slab board jaguar. It's all original but for one switch too, right down to the bizarre hard AND gooey mute foam ( now replaced)

Yeah I'm sure something can be done. It'll go to my luthier fairly soon; there are the odd tiny crackle, and the circuit switch has been wired the wrong way round... But straight out the case after several thousand miles, I just dropped a staytrem in and put on some new strings, and it sounds spectacular.

What's your verdict on the Staytrem? Almost certainly going to go with the trem and bridge on my build later in the year.
