Importing a pedal

MattGMattG Frets: 170
Hey

what in your collective experiences is the best way to bring a pedal over from the states?
buy directly from the dealer?
or pay the international handling charge through ebay?

Cheers
Matt

Just buy it from Prymaxe, direct from a store.

Shipping is around £10, the exchange rate at the moment is really good and they always have 15% code knocking around.

Buy direct. The international handling charge doesn't really work.

Prymaxe have 20% off over $99 until the 7th (I think its the 7th) and a few brands are 30% off.

The ebay duty thing makes pedals a bit of a pain to buy.

It only works with certain products I believe for example there is no discount for Strymon stuff.

    Use IND20 for 20%

However, If you use the chat box window you'll actually speak to someone live who will do a deal on anything new I think.

The code wasn't working for some BAT stuff I was looking at and the chap in the chat window was happy to take 20% off for me.

Ask nicely and I think they'd do it on Strymons too @RaymondLin

Strange. Maybe it's a power issue with the Strymons, do they have their own adapter?

They do come with an adaptor. I only found out because I am looking for a delay pedal and asked about the flint/timeline.
