Hey,
Anyone know of any software that can tell you what bpm a song is? if such a thing exists!

Logic has it available as a plugin.

In Protools I highlight the bpm and tap the T key on the keyboard. I get it roughly right and then use the grid to visually see the beats falling on the grid. I can then normally get it spot on 

What DAW are you using Clare ?

Thanks for being so awesome and quick, but I should have been more specific!

Is there any standalone software? It's for a non-music making friend, she runs spinning classes etc and could do with an easy way of knowing bpms.

If there isn't anything, I use Reaper as my DAW so maybe I could help her out?

Slight fly in the ointment is that she's using itunes and it's shit, so the files need converting to mp3 :-)
