I've been to a couple of gigs there recently and my ears are telling me that it seems all the engineers there are worried about is the kick sound and nothing else

Saw Rammelike tonght would certanly have mxed it differently

It's the way a lot of engineers seem to be going, all bottom end thump. Annoying.

    Very true.

Some engineers seem to spend an eternity on a kick drum and then just throw a vocal on the top. Age/Cheapness over Experience sometimes...

  • Going to the Fleece this Saturday to see Limehouse Lizzy, their sound is usually spot on, let's see if the engineers can bugger it up...

  • Limehouse are great everything on ears and usually have their own engineer so should be a good 'un

  • I've heard some good touring band mixes there but sometimes I think the in-house guys just don't care.
