it's actually a bit more than just collecting.

If you remember from the music radar forum I don't like the Timmy pedal, never managed to get on with them, however I took a punt on one of the limited edition ones with the different chip and found it worked much better for me and was something I can use. I have a few boards around the place so need "a few" and as anyone who's visited my pedal collection will tell you I always have spares, so if I need a few, I need them to be the limited edition ones as these seem to work for me better than the standard ones, why not have some fun and try to get the colours I've not got

    Darcym,

I'm with you mate. I love collecting stuff, and my fad varies regularly...

Right now, I could buy every Dr Z amp made.

Previously, I have collected (and sold) Timmy, Bearfoot, Rickenbackers, Pete Cornish etc etc etc

@Darcym, that was my experience too, never liked the regular Timmy but the Ltd Editions are something else. Played my tweed deluxe style amp at the edge of breakup yesterday, kicked in the Ltd Timmy and OMG! Beautiful overdrive...

What colours do you currently have?

The great thing about Timmys (original and Ltd) is you can literally pull the opamp chips out with your fingers and replace it with different ones. If you don't like the original Timmy just buy a LM1458, chip found in the Ltd ones, as it should smooth things out a little. I bought about 5 different chips to try and it cost me less than £3!
