Many guitars have a re-sale value. Some you'll never want to sell.

Sadly CPC/ Farnell no longer stock them and a quick search found no other suppliers.
They were good. I still have a 2x60watter powered by the "C" core transformer out of a Philips 2000 vcr (anybody remember those?)
But in any case I think the OP is looking for "mains in. Watts out"? If not and he can safely construct a power supply there are shedloads of power amp modules and kits about.
You would think!! That some enterprising bod would make a small range of power supplies available? 2 x 30, 40, 55 volts at a few choice current capabilities?
Could be 50/60 Hz linear or an SMPSU, but I have never seen anything outside bare bones PCB industrial stuff?

If a module will do, these guys still appear to be in business...

Dave.
I could wire up a kit and a suitable supply and find a box and you're right there are loads of kits about but for this project I just wanted to buy a simple ready made box - even salvaging something from an active PA cab with a blown speaker would do the job and I thought figured there must be someone selling them.

Lovely idea but wouldn't it be easier, cheaper and quicker to just replace the blown speaker?
That said, you would THINK there would be someone selling a "plate" with IEC mains in, XLR etc?
Geez! The "stuff" that needs making for the band and home recording market! IF I were only 25 again NOW, I would be a miwyonaire by 30 Rodney!

Hang on a tick! Is that amp unit self powered directly from mains? I cannot find any other details about it.
Then, it is only 40W and that into 4 Ohms. Class D amplifier power falls off super rapidly if you use higher than rated impedance speakers.
Not saying it "won't do" but caveat bloody emptor!
