    Holiday?

    Drugs?

    Hookers?

Or combine the 3 and go to Amsterdam?

    OK, I can see that.

    Holidays always cause arguments.

Seriously though, that is an enviable position to be in.

A discerning attitude, and money in the sock draw (or better) (out of sight and out of mind, and out of the missus way ideally too), and a bit of time to get over the urge to do the "hunter gatherer" thing, and you will be set right when you do actually need something.

Did I say "need", oh dear, I seem to have come over all "real worldly"   $-)

    Mrs Monq doesn't like drugs.

By the way @monquixote please can you take some of my GAS away. There's a slight pissabolity* there's more gear incoming.

I'm in the same boat, I've got about £300 sitting there but no real desire to get anything.
I've actually just sold some stuff to downsize because it wasn't getting played enough.

Yes, they are brilliant fun things to have in the house.
I recommend electric for the neighbours sake
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

    Been there done that.

Once upon a time I used to have a full Yamaha Maple Custom setup with a full set of Sabian HH and Zil Ks. Played drums in a band for about 3 years.

I don't have the space or opportunity to play them these days so it's probably something for my mid life crisis which isn't due for another few years yet.

    Do something amazing.

Remember - Peter Green would have still given away all his treasured possessions (including some guitars) even if he had not gone to that party in March 1970.

    Probably.
