I've got a smokey amp that I love the tone of. Now, I realise that it sounds like it does because it's a tiny amp driving a tiny speaker to absolute saturation. But, does anyone know of a pedal that can recreate this sound? You can plug the smokey into am amp but it obviously doesn't sound the same as you're not driving the speaker.

you'd get a bit of joy from having a fuzz pedal and backing your guitar volume WAY down so the fuzz circuitry just crunches nicely. You can get great low gain tones that way.

Run the Smokey through an EQ pedal and take out everything except the midrange.
