    Previous MF104m owner here...

    A wonderful (here we go, those descriptions) organic, analogue delay. Loved it. Awesome feel, fantastic owners manual, tap tempo for delay AND modulation. {I'd probably appreciate that combination more now...}

    Anyway, when I had my (new at the time) Redplate amp, the delay sounded a bit noisier with it; but not on my other amps...

    I sold it some time after to fund some fickle GAS at the time. Would love another, and have looked at em recently. More of an instrument, in sound - use - size, than a pedal...

    It was me you sold it to. And it sounds like I also harbour exactly the same regreats. Gassage, and everyone else watching, this is the best delay i've EVER used. From Skreddy to Strymon, Subdecay, Diamond and pretty much every other delay this is the sound which haunts my delay dreams.

    John Frusciante.

    I think he's using the Moog stuff here.  And he's my god idol.

    I like the filtery sound he's got going.  Also, flea got da funk. Neatly illustrates @Wazmeister's point about them being insturments in their own right.
