Pedaltrain Mini measurements and a velcro question....

Could some kind soul please measure their PT Mini for me? After donkeys years of preferring to put my pedals loose on the floor, I think I'm about to bite the bullet. The Mini is probably the one as I like to use as few pedals as possible. However, their website gives the overall length as 20", any shorter at all and my pedals won't fit. So what is the exact overall length please?

Also, does the idea of putting masking tape on the bottom of the pedals and then sticking the velcro to that actually work long term? I want to be able to remove the velcro from my pedals if necessary, though maybe a bit of heat from a hairdryer works just as well?

i don't own a tape measure (I'm a DIY disaster zone) so in practical terms i have an EHX Soulfood, Ibanez Tubescreamer, Boss DD3 and a Boss TU2 on my PT Mini. Theres room between for patch cable and the pedals aren't too close together to lead to tap dancing errors live. I do have my power supply on top though. Theres no room underneath

Thanks Ben...I do need to know the measurement though, as it's touch and go with a Turbo tuner, Analogman King Of Tone, OCD, Klon KTR and a Deep Blue Delay. I plan on installing a Cioks Adam power supply underneath, (looks to be more dependable than the Volto), which apparently will fit. The pedals will be close together, but with some careful aiming it should be OK....provided the Mini is definitely not less than 20" long.

Yes I saw those measurements on their website, and Amazon list it as 21"...I guess it's probably 20" though. 

Pedalboard planner is helpful, thanks for that, though my layout looks a bit too tight for space, so I might have to give it all a rethink.

While we're on the subject of PT Minis, is there enough room for a small power supply (Diago Micropower) underneath one?

Having done the research, it seems you are limited to the PT Volto or the Cioks Adam. I don't know about the Diago one.

I've measured my pedaltrain mini and it seems to be 1/32 less than 20 inches, however this could be down to the inaccuracy of my cheap tape measure. With such a small difference you could always hang a tiny bit of pedal over the edge without much bother.

That's really helpful, many thanks for taking the time to do that.

Looks like that Diago Micropower could work well. It can supply 1000mA, as opposed to the Adam's 700mA. I'm not sure what the KTR's current draw is, but there's no way I'll need that much anyway.
